Laura Jauregui

Known for her passion, creativity, and originality in choreographing dances. A choreographer since the age of 17, she has had the opportunity to work with approximately 2,660 children and youth aged 7 to 21 in various techniques such as Jazz, Show Dance, Musical Theater, and Street Style.

She is the founder, president an CEO of Dance Fest MX. Created in 2015 as the first amateur festval in Mexico City, bringing together different schools and dance disciplines to a forum that promotes the art of dance in a non competitive stage. all of the profits from the festival are donate to the MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION.

Norma Bilbao

I began my dance studies at the Royal Academy of Dance in 1994, at the age of three, and since then, I have not known life without dance. Later, in 2004, I enrolled in the National School of Classical and Contemporary Dance (CNA), completing my degree in 2011. During my studies, I attended international courses in Bordeaux, Havana, and Miami.

I was part of the Chamber Ballet of Quintana Roo in 2012. In 2013, I worked with the Young Ballet of Jalisco, and in 2014, I joined the Ballet and Circus of Mexico company. Starting in 2015, I participated in various projects and independent companies such as Immerruss, Centro Compañía de Danza, Ballet de la Ciudad de México, Ballet Coliseo, some plays directed by Bruno Bernal, etc.

Alongside my career as a dancer, I discovered teaching and fell in love with it. For more than 10 years, I have been dedicated to sharing my love of dance with students from various schools and academies.

Yeymy Ayala

Passionate and committed to every challenge that my professional life has presented to me, I have been able to achieve my goals and realize my dreams. These include graduating from the EIA 2 of the National Institute of Fine Arts in contemporary dance, being a student in the Multidisciplinary Dance Bachelor’s program at ADM of INBA for two years, choreographing, and participating as a dancer in concerts, music videos, and important festivals for various art exponents (musicians, singers, orchestras, etc.).

have obtained international and national scholarships to continue developing as a dancer and teacher in various workshops, courses, and dance camps such as BDC in NY and Colombia.

My commitment as a teacher is to provide my students with the ability to be resilient throughout their process, to persevere and achieve their goals with respect and conscious work, without losing the importance of enjoying, having fun, and helping others at every moment to stand out as the team we are.

Ivonne De Santos

My love for dance began when I was young, starting to dance at the age of six. Since then, I knew I wanted to live for and through dance.

My artistic journey has led me to perform on important stages, allowed me to experience the thrill of dancing with an artist, feel the adrenaline of dancing alongside admirable people, and enjoy unforgettable experiences. It has been incredible to participate in various stage productions, TV shows, and music videos.

With a very comprehensive education, I studied classical dance for five years at the Mexican Dance Academy (INBAL) and complemented my knowledge in contemporary and jazz with courses and classes at the Ollin Yolitztli Cultural Center and studios in Mexico City such as Black Studio and La Cantera.

I started teaching around the age of 18, but by the age of 23, I began to stand out as a teacher and choreographer, giving classes at many studios in the city and some studios in different states of the republic. I also started creating choreographies for various forums and some competitions.

I understand that being a teacher carries a great responsibility, so I always seek to guide my students with humility and respect, always giving my best in the classroom. I like us to also develop our human side to show our dance from a much more transparent and real perspective.

I firmly believe that discipline, effort, and dedication are the foundation of every successful person. This is how I have achieved great accomplishments, so I try to incorporate this into my lifestyle and my teaching method.

I strive to be a dancer, choreographer, and teacher who inspires through dance, talent, discipline, and effort, but also by being a real and honest person.

Fanneth Chavez

I’ve been dancing for 18 years, practically my entire life! I began my classical ballet career at Ollin Yoliztli, received a scholarship at BlackStudio, and then complemented my training with intensive courses abroad such as Broadway Dance Center (NY), Movement Lifestyle (LA), Tokyo the Academy (LA), and Monsters Dance (LA).

I have been working for 8 years, performing in shows with artists, music videos, commercials, series, movies, and teaching in various studios around the city.

I am currently studying music at Schmid Music Institute and am a lover of learning in its entirety.

Alejandra Martínez

I was born in Mexico City with an innate fascination for literature; over time, cinema, music, and sports became my inspiration.

I studied Communication Sciences, attempting to steer away from numbers and mathematics. However, fate and a pandemic led me to manage Laujaustudio, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it’s an area I enjoy greatly. I take pleasure in working on the operational side of the studio, finding satisfaction in seeing the girls happy on stage and having combined my skills with art.

Kriz Díaz

At the age of 19, I discovered a different world, which made me interested in exploring and approaching movement in such a magical way that it has stayed with me ever since…

The world of Dance. Full of countless forms, colors, and sensations that connect me with my being. It has given me discipline, strength, determination, and a deep love for Art and Teaching.

This life experience has led me to encounter many talents, whom I have had the privilege to guide and watch grow on great stages. I have also had the opportunity to perform on important stages in Mexico City with renowned singers, musicians, and artists.

I am deeply grateful for my training and for every mentor who has accompanied me since that moment. Every teacher who has shared their knowledge with me has left a lasting impact on my presence.

After a long journey of dancing and sharing, with an open mind to continue learning and growing in this profession, I continue to share with great joy at LauJau Studio, now for three years. Working with these beautiful girls and Lau undoubtedly reminds me that life is a sea of surprises filled with great value and love. Thank you.

Mark Espinoza

Since the age of 13, I decided to dedicate myself to dance and had the opportunity to train at the National Center for the Arts (CNA), Black Studio in Mexico City, Millennium in Los Angeles, and BDC in New York.

After training, I was fortunate to be a dancer for 20 national and 10 international artists, and I participated in various competitions such as Dancing with the Stars, WOD, and HHI in Las Vegas.

Currently, I am a teacher with 15 years of experience, having traveled and taught classes throughout my country, Mexico, and in more than 10 countries, including Spain, the USA, Colombia, and others.

I am completely committed to my dance, and my passion has led me to develop different projects such as Moments2Feel and the Dreamers program to train professional dancers.

I am also fortunate to have been a teacher at LauJau Studio for 7 years. Over time, I have been able to share my proposals and choreographies for their incredible events such as Dance Fest.

I continually seek to improve my skills to be a well-rounded artist who can continue to inspire new and talented generations of artists.

Mauricio Castaño

I was born in Mexico City and began creating from an early age. My interest in Musical Theater led me to study various disciplines, and I discovered one of my greatest loves: Tap.

I took classes with the best teachers in the city, such as Alejandra Noriega, Roberto Ayala, Kay Andersen, and the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) method. In Toluca, I trained with Marisa Nava and international teachers like Mika Komatsu, Ludovico Hombravella, and Joel Hanna. I reinforced my learning with self-teaching and transcribing the forms, rhythms, and melodies from the musical culture tradition of Tap. I have taken courses with the top exponents of the discipline internationally, including Sarah Reich, Chloe Arnold, Aaron Tolson, Derick Grant, Max Pollack, Justin Myles (STOMP), Jason Janas, Nicholas Young (STOMP), Acia Gray, Anthony Morigerato, Thomas Wadelton, Melinda Sullivan, Nico Rubio, Assatta Madison, and Justin Lewis.

I am certified as a fitness professional and strength specialist, accredited by La Salle University and Sport City University.

I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Composition at the Center for Research and Music Studies (CIEM), graduating from Trinity College London under the tutelage of María Antonieta Lozano. I studied composition with Enrico Chapela, Victor Rasgado, and José Julio Díaz Infante. My instrumental studies focused on Latin Percussion with teachers such as Carlos “Popis” Tovar, Charly Daniels, and Sandro Suárez; Guitar with Sergio Aguilar and Erick Huizar; Piano with Oscar Silva; and Voice with Gustavo Flores, Lili de Miguelez, Rogelio Marin, and Alfredo Portilla.

I am currently teaching Tap as a teacher and choreographer in several academies in Mexico City, whether they are focused on Musical Theater or directly specialized in the discipline itself. My music has been performed by national and international interpreters on chamber music stages. Additionally, I am dedicated to promoting Tap in the city, alongside Mexican and foreign musicians and dancers, with participation in Musical Theater and chamber theater scenes in the country.

Michelle Linares

Since the age of 5, my passion for dance has led me to explore the most vibrant corners of the stage and beyond! My artistic journey has been an exciting adventure, performing on prestigious stages, dancing alongside renowned artists, and leaving my mark on various platforms, from theater to music videos and film productions.

With a solid background in Business Administration and Marketing from Universidad Panamericana, I have complemented my love for dance with studies at Black Studio in Mexico City, Broadway Dance Center in New York, and Millennium and The Edge in Los Angeles.

At the age of 17, I began to excel as a choreographer, creating innovative choreographies for various venues and competitions. Beyond my achievements on stage, my focus in teaching is to nurture the human and professional quality of my students, inspiring them to reach their full potential.

My commitment to dance and my constant pursuit of artistic excellence have allowed me to stand out in the world of dance. I strive to be a figure who inspires through humanity, talent, passion, and dedication.

Jessica Araujo

Since I was 12 years old, I knew my life would be dedicated to dance. I have had the opportunity to train in intensive courses such as Broadway Dance Center in New York and ‘CUBALLET’ in Havana, Cuba, among others. My professional training began with a one-year residency in Havana, Cuba, where I was an apprentice in a professional contemporary dance company. Later on, I formalized my dance education by obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Dance from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla.

In 2019, I moved to Mexico City with the goal of expanding my professional career. Shortly after my arrival, I participated in projects such as commercials, music videos, and television programs.

In addition to my career as a dancer, I am also a teacher, a role that deeply impassions me. Since taking on the role of showdance group leader at LaujauStudio, I have not stopped studying, refining, and innovating to surpass each choreography year after year.
